Feliberto Refugio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Iraitz in the 4th minute of play. Lorenzo Fiz made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Anibal Domeka sent off a good shot on target. 7 minutes into the match, Monteagudo's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Iraitz came free, but Feliberto Refugio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Refugio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Ciceron, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Lorenzo Fiz made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Marciano Cordarell sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th match minute, Chulihuense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos McAllister to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Fiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristobal Brion in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Martin Cresencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos McAllister's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliberto Refugio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Ruben Ciceron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Monteagudo's Anibal Domeka got a free kick in the 28th minute. Horacio Senio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Anibal Iraitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Refugio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anibal Iraitz to strike the kick off in the second half. Feliberto Refugio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Federigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Monteagudo's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Federigo came free, but Feliberto Refugio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes, Adolfo Sol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chulihuense FC and the Monteagudo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes Monteagudo got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Egun. A hard shot 78 in the game by Anibal Iraitz from a close distance when the talented Feliberto Refugio managed to make a qualified save. Monteagudo's players were relieved. Marciano Cordarell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Lorenzo Fiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Federigo in the 81st minute of play forced Monteagudo's goalkeeper Feliberto Refugio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chulihuense FC's Horacio Senio got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feliberto Refugio made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Anibal Iraitz sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute, Anibal Iraitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Senon in the 94th minute of play forced Chulihuense FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Fiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 played minutes Chulihuense FC got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Senio. When the match was over Chulihuense FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Monteagudo throughout the match.
