When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimeno Montae made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlético Belgrano's Erasmo Clis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anier Benvide. That made the score 0-10 after 51 minutes of play. In the 54th minute, Club Atlético Belgrano's Son Di Bari dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. Urbano Herauso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anier Benvide came out and tried to block the shot, but Urbano Herauso slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind River Plate's goalkeeper Anier Benvide, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Urbano Herauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. River Plate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Lorenzo Clementi scored to the left of an out of position Anier Benvide, making the score, 0-14. Son Di Bari took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anier Benvide. Anier Benvide dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-15. When Apolo Gabon fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Plate's protests and gave Apolo Gabon a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club Atlético Belgrano booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Gabon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Gabon to maneuver through the defense. River Plate's Anier Benvide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Clis in the 80th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urbano Herauso got free with Anier Benvide in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82ndth minute of the game Urbano Herauso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate's Anier Benvide was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on Club Atlético Belgrano's corner Urbano Herauso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anier Benvide quite easily take care of the ball. River Plate's Anier Benvide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Son Di Bari in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Club Atlético Belgrano's Fausto Firmin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-16. 93 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Clementi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anier Benvide. River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenzo Clementi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-17. Anier Benvide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Clementi, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Club Atlético Belgrano's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
