An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Cefero in the 3rd minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Anier Benvide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Marcelino Jenaro made a precise shot to the right of Anier Benvide. River Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 10th minute, Teodosio Sugoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anier Benvide was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Anier Benvide came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Rojas FC's Marcelino Jenaro. But to his dismay, Marcelino Jenaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 22 minutes into the match, Marcelino Jenaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anier Benvide. River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelino Jenaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Sugoi in the 33rd minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Anier Benvide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Ermegildo Cefero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anier Benvide was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. After some careless play in the River Plate defense, Marcelino Jenaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anier Benvide. The River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anier Benvide should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jimeno Montae was the one to do the kick off. Ermegildo Cefero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Anier Benvide made a huge save. Hugo Hondo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Anier Benvide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Jenaro in the 55th minute of the match. Anier Benvide made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Marcelino Jenaro sent off a good shot on target. Anier Benvide was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anastasio Guifre showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 63 minute of play. Anier Benvide made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ermegildo Cefero sent off a good shot on target. Hector Virila hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Rojas FC's Alfredo Jaume was substituted for Jesus Firmin. Rojas FC's Evelio Kaxen was substituted for Teodosio Sugoi. In the 72nd match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Virila to maneuver through the defense. Marcelino Jenaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Benvide having to interfere. Anier Benvide was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Evelio Kaxen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 87 minute of play. River Plate's Anier Benvide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Jenaro in the 91st minute of play. Anier Benvide was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Evelio Kaxen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evelio Kaxen really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. Rojas FC played a much better game than River Plate and deserved their victory. The River Plate players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
