Eulalio Jerico scored 3-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bonifacio Iyan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bonifacio Iyan made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Pablo Herencia sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute, Navia CSyD's Gaudencio Steven dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaudencio Steven to make the kick off. If Enzo Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Navia CSyD's Lázaro Dabi got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Frechoso in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Favila saved Navia CSyD from getting behind. Leonides Favila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Frechoso in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaudencio Steven in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bonifacio Iyan saved Los Pibes FC from getting behind. Navia CSyD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Enzo Frechoso scored to the left of an out of position Leonides Favila, making the score, 4-1. Lázaro Dabi charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lázaro Dabi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 78 minutes into the game, Navia CSyD's Gaudencio Steven nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bonifacio Iyan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. A collision led to Navia CSyD getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Czeslaw Krzynowek hit a great ball. Jacobo Gonzales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Favila having to interfere. The supporters of Los Pibes FC booed when Navia CSyD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Steven didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaudencio Steven kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Navia CSyD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
