He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Beruti FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 19th match minute, DeportivoIndependienteMDP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Abel to maneuver through the defense. Casimiro Estavan came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Esquipula Bouzon. But to his dismay, Esquipula Bouzon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. DeportivoIndependienteMDP were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Beruti FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Salvador Perfecto took the corner. The corner led DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Salvador Perfecto to fire away a dangerous shot which Casimiro Estavan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esquipula Bouzon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esquipula Bouzon in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal.
