The DeportivoIndependienteMDP fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Esquipula Bouzon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Locomotora's Hilario Breogan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esquipula Bouzon in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Tonete in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Eguerdi saved DeportivoIndependienteMDP from getting behind. Hilario Breogan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esquipula Bouzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Hilario Breogan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. A collision led to Locomotora getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Nicanor Eutropio hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Lapurdi got free with Hilario Breogan in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, Esquipula Bouzon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hilario Breogan. The goal made the score 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esquipula Bouzon in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilario Breogan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anastasio Eguerdi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. When the match was over DeportivoIndependienteMDP could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Locomotora throughout the match.
