Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After a rather tough play, UPAU FC's Joel Baumer got a free kick in the 11th minute. Atilano Boni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Emanuel Persson made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Carmen's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Ayrton came free, but Sten Muren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans Ayrton in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sten Muren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuel Persson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Rami in the 24th minute of the match. The referee ignored UPAU FC's protests and gave Atilano Cordarell a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, UPAU FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Cordarell to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With a little luck, Carmen's Sten Muren got control of the ball when Dário Koehler tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 58 minutes Carmen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Atilano Cordarell who took care of the corner kick. Carmen's Sten Muren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Carmen from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Ayrton in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sten Muren saved Carmen from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Carmen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hans Ayrton fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Emanuel Persson came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Carmen's Atilano Boni. But to his dismay, Atilano Boni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 82nd minute of the match Osvaldo Mundo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Persson skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Carmen booed when UPAU FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Sandalio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Adolfo Amato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carmen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UPAU FC the free kick. In the 91st minute, Adolfo Amato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgardo Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Sten Muren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 97 minutes, Hans Ayrton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UPAU FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Ayrton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded UPAU FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Carmen.
