Osmar da Rocha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Osmar da Rocha fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nicolas Markel, passed just outside the right post. After 12 minutes, Gaston Perrando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rucachoroi AFC and the Ya Veran players grew even worse after the yellow card. Osmar da Rochas short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Nicolas Markel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Nicolás De la Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ya Veran's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolás De la Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Markel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Froilan Rey came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Ya Veran fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Froilan Rey couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rucachoroi AFC's goalkeeper Nicolas Markel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicolás De la Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Osmar da Rocha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicolas Markel. That made the score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. The supporters of Rucachoroi AFC booed when Ya Veran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osmar da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osmar da Rocha might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Markel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osmar da Rocha ran back to his position shaking his head. Froilan Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nicolas Markel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Bemabe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Dolcet having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Espiridion to make the kick off. The supporters of Rucachoroi AFC booed when Ya Veran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Emeterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Osmar da Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Markel. Rucachoroi AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osmar da Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osmar da Rocha in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Markel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ya Veran's Anibal Mouricio was substituted for Osmar da Rocha. After a defensive mix-up in Rucachoroi AFC's zone, Anibal Mouricio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Markel came out of the goal and Anibal Mouricio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 played minutes, Ya Veran's Marcos Emeterio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicolas Markel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Nicolas Markel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 90th match minute, Rucachoroi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Perrando to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Anibal Mouricio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ya Veran fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0.
