Esquina's Lorenzo Peli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 12 played minutes Esquina got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Medina. If Osmar da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osmar da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Peli having to interfere. Du Zhen Ang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorenzo Peli having to make a save. Osmar da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorenzo Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolás De la Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osmar da Rocha struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Lorenzo Peli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ya Veran. Siro Balendin hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, Osmar da Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Lorenzo Peli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 30 minutes, Israel Niva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esquina and the Ya Veran players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Esquina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Niva to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Osmar da Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lorenzo Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo Peli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Ya Veran were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osmar da Rocha was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Du Zhen Ang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenzo Peli. Esquina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Du Zhen Ang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. If Osmar da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute, Nicolás De la Cruz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lorenzo Peli. The goal made the score 0-7. German Berriotxoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Dolcet having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Edgardo Bernabel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esquina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ya Veran the free kick. The supporters of Ya Veran booed when Esquina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Bernabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Osmar da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ya Veran's supporters rose to their feet, but Osmar da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Peli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osmar da Rocha got free with Lorenzo Peli in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lorenzo Peli made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Osmar da Rocha sent off a good shot on target. Osmar da Rocha scored 0-8 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lorenzo Peli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Osmar da Rocha notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Esquina's Lorenzo Peli. Lorenzo Peli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lorenzo Peli came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Ya Veran's Anibal Mouricio. But to his dismay, Anibal Mouricio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Ya Veran's Felipe Dantel was substituted for Nicolás De la Cruz. Anibal Mouricio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorenzo Peli having to make a save. Lorenzo Peli came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Ya Veran's Anibal Mouricio. But to his dismay, Anibal Mouricio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. Ya Veran's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
