Spectators: 7360 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1550, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Samuel Jaunzuria got the match started through his kick off. Cobos's Leonel Chesus got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serafin Eutor was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Leonel Chesus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonel Chesus really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 7th minute, Samuel Jaunzuria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Guerrero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Serafin Eutor firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Malabrigo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cobos:s goal. Cobos's Stelian Apostol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Cugat in the 13th minute of play. In the 18th play minute Lino Guerrero came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Serafin Eutor. 2-0. After 21 played minutes Leonel Chesus rounded Malabrigo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. 25 minutes into the match, Malabrigo's Santos Manny sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stelian Apostol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Cobos's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Oliverios came free, but Stelian Apostol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafin Eutor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrick Lidman in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cobos's zone, Santos Manny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stelian Apostol came out of the goal and Santos Manny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciro Gilen's late challenge caught a Malabrigo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Gilen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Ciro Gilen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino Guerrero scored 4-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafin Eutor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Guerrero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cobos booed when Malabrigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Jeraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stelian Apostol made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Santos Manny sent off a good shot on target. Santos Manny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Justino Cugat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Stelian Apostol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Malabrigo getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Abelardo Oliverios hit a great ball. Braulio Diaz hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Malabrigo defense, Lino Guerrero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafin Eutor. The Malabrigo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafin Eutor should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Cobos's goalkeeper Stelian Apostol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severiano Jeraldo. Serafin Eutor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Lidman in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Malabrigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Oinatz to maneuver through the defense. If Justino Cugat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 88 minutes on the clock, Ciro Gilen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 88th minute, one of Cobos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cobos. Santos Manny was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Malabrigo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 96th minute Severiano Jeraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelian Apostol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
