Spectators: 7237 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Justino Cugat took the kick off in the first half of the match. Henric Springfält's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Eutor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute of the match Basavilbaso FC got a corner. Malabrigo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henric Springfält ran over to the corner to take the kick. 4 minutes into the game, Venancio Lop was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Basavilbaso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malabrigo the free kick. In the 4th minute, Venancio Lop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Basavilbaso FC's goalkeeper Orvar Bäckström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Manny. Braulio Diaz's late challenge caught a Basavilbaso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braulio Diaz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute of the match, Justino Cugat tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orvar Bäckström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 23 minutes of play, Malabrigo's Justino Cugat made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orvar Bäckström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute Venancio Lop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Eutor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henric Springfält took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafin Eutor. Serafin Eutor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 39 minutes into the match, Malabrigo's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Gentza came free, but Serafin Eutor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafin Eutor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Gentza in the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half Basavilbaso FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Clemente Rubio made the kick off in the second half. Justino Cugat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Manny in the 59th minute of play forced Basavilbaso FC's goalkeeper Orvar Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Samuel Jaunzuria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Orvar Bäckström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Urbano Oinatz hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Serafin Eutor made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Venancio Lop sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Clemente Rubio took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Serafin Eutor to make any attempt to save it. Eriberto Lordi hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Ruben Gentza kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Santos Manny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orvar Bäckström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Malabrigo's Justino Cugat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orvar Bäckström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Clemente Rubio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Braulio Diaz hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match, Clemente Rubio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Serafin Eutor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Justino Cugat scored 3-5 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orvar Bäckström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basavilbaso FC played a much better game than Malabrigo and deserved their victory. The Malabrigo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
