The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conrado Avellaneda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, MORMONES's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Joseph came free, but Jacinto Taurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes MORMONES got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Bartoli. Amado Ticho hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Aquilino Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Taurino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Argentinos Juniors's Serafin Procopio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Martin Todor in the 91 minute of the game. If Aquilino Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasio Clementi's late challenge caught a MORMONES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anastasio Clementi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Argentinos Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Clementi to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justino Urtats got free with Oscar Urtzi in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
