If Jimeno Dalmau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Tono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Onbera, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Romulo Selmo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Oscar Urtzi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Onbera in the 16th minute of play forced LAS MIL FC's goalkeeper Laureano Tono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano Tono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Urtsin in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Onbera in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Tono saved LAS MIL FC from getting behind. Aquilino Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Laureano Tono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, LAS MIL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Guillelmus to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Mauricio Isusko put in a rough tackle. After 41 played minutes LAS MIL FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Isusko. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Alfredo Onbera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argentinos Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Onbera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Tono breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as LAS MIL FC's Romulo Selmo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oscar Urtzi. That made the score 1-0 after 46 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Onbera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dario Mogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Laureano Tono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Octavio Urtsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 63rd play minutes Alfredo Onbera shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Laureano Tono and just under the crossbar into goal. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Laureano Tono successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Laureano Tono was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Astor Presebal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 68 minute of play. Oscar Urtzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Selmo in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Vinicio Elia suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 78 played minutes Argentinos Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Astor Presebal. Alfredo Onbera's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Laureano Tono skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Salvador Mingo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Onbera might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laureano Tono. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Onbera ran back to his position shaking his head. The LAS MIL FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Argentinos Juniors were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
