Vlad Cazacu had several of the Colmena's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Zeledon Goyo as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some careless play in the Colmena defense, Augusto Azeari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Goyo. The Colmena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Goyo should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Colmena's zone, Vlad Cazacu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Goyo came out of the goal and Vlad Cazacu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vlad Cazacu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Goyo having to interfere. Julian Jerrald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Mattias Erik kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zeledon Goyo. That made the score 3-0 in the 19 minute of play. With a little luck, Colmena's Zeledon Goyo got control of the ball when Vlad Cazacu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Colmena booed when Sportlandia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Cazacu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Goyo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mattias Erik showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 39 minute of play. Mattias Erik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Luis Dodorol made the kick off in the second half. Julian Jerrald might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Goyo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Jerrald ran back to his position shaking his head. If Julian Jerrald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Goyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Erik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mattias Erik took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Goyo. Zeledon Goyo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Cazacu in the 75th minute of play forced Colmena's goalkeeper Zeledon Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Augusto Azeari made a precise shot to the right of Zeledon Goyo. Colmena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. A collision led to Colmena getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Honorato Distiratsu hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Vlad Cazacu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Goyo. Colmena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vlad Cazacu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Mattias Erik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Goyo having to interfere. Julian Jerrald scored 11-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeledon Goyo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sportlandia FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
