Siro Luke might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Orlin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Siro Luke ran back to his position shaking his head. Siro Luke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Orlin having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, F.C Boca Unidos's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Lauro came free, but Camilo Orlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Orlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Luke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celedonio Lauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 20 minutes, Siro Luke made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. F.C Boca Unidos's Camilo Orlin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Celedonio Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Orlin having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Celedonio Lauro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Orlin was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Rene Gutierrez kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celedonio Lauro in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Orlin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Siro Luke struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Camilo Orlin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Longchamps. Rene Gutierrez hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Celedonio Lauro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Longchamps's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Lauro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Orlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celedonio Lauro to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in F.C Boca Unidos's zone, Bernardo Galsino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Orlin came out of the goal and Bernardo Galsino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 53 minutes, Florentino Baleren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C Boca Unidos and the Club Atlético Longchamps players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, one of F.C Boca Unidos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C Boca Unidos. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Club Atlético Longchamps. Fidel Ferrando stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Camilo Orlin. 0-3. In the 58th minute Celedonio Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Orlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Luke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Camilo Orlin made a huge save.
