Froilan Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Abeijon, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Froilan Osorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Maju in the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Lobocó FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo Cardozo hit a great ball. After 19 played minutes Lobocó FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Cardozo. In the 20th minute, Celedonio Ralondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Válbson Santos struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jorge Mundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobocó FC. Vinicio Blanco charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinicio Blanco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Gustavo Cardozo during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute Severino Abeijon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Osorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Acostillas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Crescencio came free, but Jorge Mundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Severino Abeijon made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Acostillas AFC booed when Lobocó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Salvidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gonzalo Bergessio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jorge Mundo. That made the score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Lobocó FC's Gustavo Crescencio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Mundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 73 minutes, Gustavo Crescencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobocó FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Crescencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th match minute, Acostillas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Cresconio to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Acostillas AFC's Rosendo Maju got a free kick in the 81st minute. The supporters of Acostillas AFC booed when Lobocó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiliam Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Froilan Osorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Maju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Crescencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jorge Mundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Lobocó FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lobocó FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
