Jorge Mundo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 6th minute Fermin Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Matei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Acostillas AFC's Fermin Berbiz in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Argentino de San Carlos's goalie prevented a goal. Constantino Matei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Berbiz went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The Argentino de San Carlos fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Argentino de San Carlos's Jesus Tulio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Fermin Berbiz fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Acostillas AFC's protests and gave Fermin Berbiz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Acostillas AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Fermin Berbiz hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fermin Berbiz in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantino Matei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Constantino Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Berbiz in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Abeijon in the 42nd minute of play forced Argentino de San Carlos's goalkeeper Constantino Matei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Acostillas AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Felipe Rafe hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Jesus Tulio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severino Abeijon made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Argentino de San Carlos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Paskal to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Acostillas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Tulio came free, but Jorge Mundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Abeijon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Matei having to interfere. Fermin Berbiz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Acostillas AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jesus Tulio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jesus Tulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 played minutes Acostillas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Severino Abeijon. Jorge Mundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Tulio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantino Matei made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Fermin Berbiz sent off a good shot on target. Evelio Frantzes struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jorge Mundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentino de San Carlos. 95 minutes into the match, Acostillas AFC's Severino Abeijon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Constantino Matei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Cornelio Eskuin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jesus Tulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Argentino de San Carlos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
