After 13 minutes of play, Lobocó FC's Gustavo Crescencio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 24th match minute, Argentino de San Carlos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Casomiro to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeo Berart got free with Froilan Osorio in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Válbson Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Válbson Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lobocó FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Válbson Santos hit a great ball. Gonzalo Bergessio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantino Matei having to make a save. Jesus Tulio came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Froilan Osorio could save by the left post. 41 minutes into the match, Lobocó FC's goalkeeper Froilan Osorio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesus Tulio. After a defensive mix-up in Argentino de San Carlos's zone, Gustavo Crescencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Matei came out of the goal and Gustavo Crescencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Lobocó FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jesus Tulio made a kick off. The supporters of Argentino de San Carlos booed when Lobocó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. 庞诚笑 didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led Lobocó FC's Vinicio Blanco to fire away a dangerous shot which Constantino Matei despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lobocó FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
