Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5699, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. If Clodoveo Cordaryal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Amundarain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabricio Luar's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Liquid Spirit's Marcelo Amundarain got control of the ball when Gareth Wilson tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Bazán getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Evaristo Duarte hit a great ball. Alfonso Dolfos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fabricio Luar made the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Amundarain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Luar in the 52nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Fabricio Luar put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelo Amundarain. Clodoveo Cordaryal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evaristo Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Alfonso Dolfos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Fabricio Luar sped through Liquid Spirit's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelo Amundarain. After a rather tough play, Bazán's Donato Celio got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 77 minutes, Fabricio Luar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bazán and the Liquid Spirit players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Fabricio Luar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabricio Luar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabricio Luar in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Amundarain saved Liquid Spirit from getting behind. Arturo Ixaka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes Bazán got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Duarte. Silverio Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Ixaka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bazán had won after a very even match.
