Tancredo Maldonado was slow to take the kick. During this time Liquid Spirit's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wen Wei Kun in the 34th minute of play forced Los Pinares FC's goalkeeper Casimiro Dodorol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Rioja in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Amundarain saved Liquid Spirit from getting behind. The Los Pinares FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Liquid Spirit were winning 0-3.

Casimiro Dodorol was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wen Wei Kun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 67 minute of play. After 72 played minutes Los Pinares FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Hegoi. Casimiro Dodorol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonso Dolfos in the 76th minute. If Efrain Videl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Los Pinares FC's zone, Alfonso Dolfos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Dodorol came out of the goal and Alfonso Dolfos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, Los Pinares FC's goalkeeper Casimiro Dodorol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Dolfos.
