The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, D10S y el Me55ias's Iker Iratzeder got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After having played for 3 minutes, Mateo Urre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reyes Osos Polares HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Urre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Luisito Pacorro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mateo Urre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Luisito Pacorro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Oxarra in the 8th minute of play forced D10S y el Me55ias's goalkeeper Elpidio Oihan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Llin hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateo Urre in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Oihan saved D10S y el Me55ias from getting behind. Leandro Oxarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Oihan having to interfere. Elpidio Oihan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateo Urre's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, D10S y el Me55ias's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Urre came free, but Elpidio Oihan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Gaspar Tino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eulalio Piearres, 1-0. In the 34th minute, Reyes Osos Polares HC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gaspar Tino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Teodosio Llin kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Leopoldo Rufio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Oihan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Eulalio Piearres was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Honorio Chano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Honorio Chano really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 48th minute, Luisito Pacorro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. D10S y el Me55ias's Ulises Loco was substituted for Honorio Chano. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Mateo Urre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 56 minutes into the game, D10S y el Me55ias's Luisito Pacorro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eulalio Piearres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After a rather tough play, D10S y el Me55ias's Ulises Loco got a free kick in the 58th minute. Albino Toribio took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elpidio Oihan. Elpidio Oihan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind D10S y el Me55ias's goalkeeper Elpidio Oihan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the D10S y el Me55ias defense, Mateo Urre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elpidio Oihan. The D10S y el Me55ias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elpidio Oihan should have stopped the shot. Mateo Urre struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Elpidio Oihan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reyes Osos Polares HC. In the 69th minute, one of Reyes Osos Polares HC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Reyes Osos Polares HC. In the 73rd minute, Albino Toribio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. D10S y el Me55ias's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Leandro Oxarra scored to the left of an out of position Elpidio Oihan, making the score, 3-4. Ulises Loco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Eulalio Piearres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reyes Osos Polares HC's Leopoldo Rufio got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reyes Osos Polares HC's Claudio Gelmiro was substituted for Leandro Oxarra. A collision led to D10S y el Me55ias getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Iker Iratzeder hit a great ball. Albino Toribio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Elpidio Oihan made a huge save. In a very dangerous position, a player in D10S y el Me55ias fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 97th minute. Penalty! Claudio Gelmiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Albino Toribio came up free with the goalie in the 102nd minute, the Reyes Osos Polares HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Toribio couldn't finish the play. The Reyes Osos Polares HC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Reyes Osos Polares HC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
