After a defensive mix-up in Soldados de Moreno's zone, Norbert Ludwiczak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Cristofol came out of the goal and Norbert Ludwiczak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Ciriaco Herauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Pata Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Cordaryal came free, but Artemio Olivar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Ludwiczak in the 13th minute of play. Artemio Belasko kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Ciriaco Herauso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Artemio Olivar made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Norbert Ludwiczak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Cristofol was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After 25 played minutes Soldados de Moreno got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Rufo. Artemio Olivar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Frederik, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute Norbert Ludwiczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Honrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Adrian Cristofol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Soldados de Moreno's Artemio Olivar threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Everardo Cordaryal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Everardo Cordaryal to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Pata Boys's Norbert Ludwiczak got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After some careless play in the Pata Boys defense, Everardo Cordaryal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artemio Olivar. The Pata Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artemio Olivar should have stopped the shot. With 61 minutes on the clock, Justino Orlondo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 62nd minute, Justino Orlondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artemio Olivar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Frederik in the 63rd minute of the match. Pipo Pipa scored 2-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artemio Olivar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adrian Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Cortis in the 72nd minute of play. With a little luck, Soldados de Moreno's Adrian Cristofol got control of the ball when Ruben Honrio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute, Pipo Pipa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soldados de Moreno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Artemio Olivar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Cordaryal, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Pata Boys's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
