With a left leg Elpidio Oihan saved D10S y el Me55ias from getting behind. 14 minutes into the game, Luisito Pacorro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. D10S y el Me55ias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tete FC the free kick. D10S y el Me55ias's Elpidio Oihan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Leheren in the 16th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, D10S y el Me55ias's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Xabat came free, but Elpidio Oihan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisito Pacorro got free with Alvaro Uhin in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the game, Tete FC's Ismael Leheren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Oihan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Tete FC's zone, Edelmiro Gonzalez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Uhin came out of the goal and Edelmiro Gonzalez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisito Pacorro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Alvaro Uhin made a huge save. A collision led to Tete FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ismael Leheren hit a great ball. Alvaro Uhin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Gonzalez in the 34th minute of the match. Luisito Pacorro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 37th playminute. Edelmiro Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Uhin having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ismael Leheren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Oihan was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. When Ismael Leheren came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Tete FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Leheren couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ismael Leheren to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, D10S y el Me55ias's Gaspar Tino seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gaspar Tino the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of D10S y el Me55ias protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gaspar Tino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Elpidio Oihan, was totally fooled by Tete FC's Ismael Leheren, who 54 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Elpidio Oihan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Leheren, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Leheren in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elpidio Oihan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alvaro Uhin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Pacorro in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, D10S y el Me55ias's Ignacio Paio got a free kick in the 96th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Godofredo Xabat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tete FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Xabat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Oihan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
