The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Hug in the 2nd minute of play forced Votra's goalkeeper Angelo Urtun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Marcelino Amor made a precise shot to the right of Angelo Urtun. Votra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Hector Hug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ARSEFC booed when Votra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Hunfredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Votra's Angelo Urtun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Hug in the 15th minute of play. Angelo Urtun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Bulă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Vellito kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Attilio Masciarelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Eugen Bulă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Urtun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Attilio Masciarelli took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Urtun. Angelo Urtun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Angelo Urtun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Hug in the 34th minute of play. 0-3 became the score in the 37th minute when Eugen Bulă elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Masciarelli in the 47th minute of play forced Votra's goalkeeper Angelo Urtun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugen Bulă was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Eugen Bulă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ARSEFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugen Bulă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th match minute, Votra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Hunfredo to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Harry Callahan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Angelo Urtun, 0-5. After a rather tough play, Votra's Orlando Rosalio got a free kick in the 84th minute. Angelo Urtun made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Eugen Bulă sent off a good shot on target. Eugen Bulă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Angelo Urtun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Urtun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugen Bulă went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. If Eugen Bulă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over ARSEFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Votra throughout the match.
