The Messiano FC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Messiano FC's Gonzalo Guifre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Geir Alstad hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The supporters of Japy Man booed when Messiano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Azubeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darman Ardiansyahs short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Desiderio Columbo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Darman Ardiansyah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Desiderio Columbo was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Carlos Santamaria's late challenge caught a Japy Man's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darman Ardiansyah to make the kick off. But to his dismay, Darman Ardiansyah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Messiano FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
