But to his dismay, Arsenio Gomez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 29 minutes into the match, Lagartijas Futbol's Rafael Jerold sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Davide Franco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute of the match, Roman Dalmau tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Davide Franco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rafael Jerold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Franco having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Locura Académica got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Emenon. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Arsenio Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagartijas Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsenio Gomez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davide Franco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davide Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Dalmau, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Locura Académica's Davide Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Dalmau in the 45th minute of play. With a little luck, Locura Académica's Davide Franco got control of the ball when Arsenio Gomez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arsenio Gomez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arsenio Gomez took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Davide Franco. Davide Franco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Urbano Ortega charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urbano Ortega the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Locura Académica getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Urbano Ortega hit a great ball. Gaudencio Hartz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Enzo Beremundo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nyangnyang Rungkat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Enzo Beremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Dacio hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Lázaro Donio lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Lagartijas Futbol:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Locura Académica:s goal. The goalkeeper, Enzo Beremundo, was totally fooled by Locura Académica's Remus Pinches, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 77th match minute, Lagartijas Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Dacio to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Chano hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Gaudencio Hartz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Enzo Beremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Locura Académica's Gaudencio Hartz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Beremundo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Remus Pinches kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arsenio Gomez during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arsenio Gomez hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
