AS MAS:s Ramiro Vedillo showed great skill when he stopped Baldomero Micael:s penalty. TRINQUETA 1997 FC's Baldomero Micael was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ramiro Vedillo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee ignored TRINQUETA 1997 FC's protests and gave Cristo Gomez a yellow card for diving instead. AS MAS made a substitution. Gervasio Arotza replaced Guaberto Clementi. 53 minutes into the match, TRINQUETA 1997 FC's goalkeeper Basilio Iigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Cordeara. Celedonio Abecia kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for TRINQUETA 1997 FC! Celedonio Abecia walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. AS MAS's Ceferino Raymundo got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over AS MAS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TRINQUETA 1997 FC throughout the match.
