Dario Vedillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Rico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute Fabiano Trabucco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fabiano Trabucco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dario Vedillo was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Dario Vedillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabiano Trabucco in the 9th minute. Caleufú's Alejo Urtsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Errolan in the 23rd minute of play. The referee showed Anier Hitzeder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dario Vedillo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aldo Olando. During the 41st minute of the match Anier Hitzeder completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anier Hitzeder a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Xeneize 2 FC's Anier Hitzeder got a free kick in the 41st minute. Dario Vedillo stood somewhat misplaced when Fabiano Trabucco came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 43 minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Rico got free with Dario Vedillo in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabiano Trabucco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Harriet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Xeneize 2 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Trabucco came free, but Dario Vedillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejo Urtsin made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Omar Harriet sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes into the match, Caleufú's goalkeeper Alejo Urtsin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Harriet. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dario Vedillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caleufú's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xeneize 2 FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Caleufú's Eduardo Madeo got a free kick in the 78th minute. With his leg Alejo Urtsin managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Xeneize 2 FC's Omar Harriet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dario Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Trabucco in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Xeneize 2 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Dolfos to maneuver through the defense. After 88 minutes, Fabiano Trabucco made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Xeneize 2 FC's Dario Vedillo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Patricio Rico struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Dario Vedillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caleufú. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Caleufú fully deserved thier win.
