The supporters of Abiogenesis booed when Salto AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Cebrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Abiogenesis's Angelino Bidun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Orlondon in the 9th minute of play forced Salto AFC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Admon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes, Tiburcio Chano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salto AFC and the Abiogenesis players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tiburcio Chano kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Abiogenesis's Froilan Quintana ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vladimiro Admon. Vladimiro Admon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After having played for 14 minutes, Jacobo Aritza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abiogenesis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Aritza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Angelino Bidun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelino Bidun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Admon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Fernan Orlondon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abiogenesis's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernan Orlondon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Admon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelino Bidun was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Abiogenesis's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Vladimiro Admon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Libertad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Angelino Bidun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Admon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Admon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Bidun in the 33rd minute of the match. Vladimiro Admon had great luck who in the 34thth minute grab hold of the ball when Angelino Bidun from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 37th minute, Tadeo Celipe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Eladio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Eliseo Ortle kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Salto AFC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Santo. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Salto AFC's Vladimiro Admon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Orlondon in the 52nd minute of play. Ondřej Macháček kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Angelino Bidun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimiro Admon was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Bidun in the 65th minute of play forced Salto AFC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Admon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abiogenesis's Joel Caetano was substituted for Froilan Quintana. Santiago Eladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Cebrian in the 74th minute of the match. Filomeno Tono hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Orlondon in the 79th minute of play forced Salto AFC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Admon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Tadeo Celipe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salto AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Celipe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Salto AFC defense, Fernan Orlondon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimiro Admon. The Salto AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimiro Admon should have stopped the shot. Vladimiro Admon came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Abiogenesis's Cristo Maju. But to his dismay, Cristo Maju quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1.
