In the 15th minute, Silvio Egun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Kelemen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Sean Allison scored 0-3 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Kelemen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sean Allison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Kelemen having to interfere. Diego Kelemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Egun in the 23rd minute of play. Diego Kelemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Egun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Sean Allison left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cuquero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Edgardo Martxot hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Silvio Egun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Cuervachios's Fernando Berdoi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. In the 44th minute Silvio Egun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Kelemen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Kelemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Allison in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amador Loren made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Amador Loren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Cambiasso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Nicanor Calixto charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicanor Calixto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cuervachios booed when Cuquero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Calixto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Emilio Txema sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dario Cambiasso skillfully saved the ball. In the 63rd minute, Cuquero's Silvio Egun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. In the 72nd minute of the match Geronimo Fe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dario Cambiasso skillfully saved the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Sean Allison dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diego Kelemen, 2-7. Cuervachios's Diego Kelemen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Cuervachios from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Cuervachios defense, Sean Allison kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Kelemen. The Cuervachios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Kelemen should have stopped the shot. Cuervachios made a substitution. Gustavo Kusko replaced Ignacio Argider. A collision led to Cuervachios getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Fernando Berdoi hit a great ball.
