Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvio Egun started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvio Egun got free with Sergio Pancho in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the match, Silvio Egun notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Messias's Sergio Pancho. Sergio Pancho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silvio Egun hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Silvio Egun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Froilan Aimar during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Messias's Froilan Aimar got a free kick in the 16th minute. Sergio Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Allison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute of the match, Sean Allison tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sergio Pancho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sean Allisons short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Sergio Pancho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 24th minute of the match Cuquero got a corner. Messias's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicanor Calixto ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Cuquero's Silvio Egun to fire away a dangerous shot which Sergio Pancho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Alfredo Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 minutes, Melchor Castulo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Messias and the Cuquero players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Messias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Castulo to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Pancho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvio Egun in the 35th minute. Sergio Pancho stood somewhat misplaced when Silvio Egun came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 35 minute. Sean Allison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st match minute, Messias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Ellande to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Garaile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Pancho having to interfere. Dario Cambiasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Aimar in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ildefonso Jakue made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Astor Rufio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sean Allison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Cuquero's Alfredo Garaile got a free kick in the 56th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Dario Cambiasso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Egun in the 62nd minute of play forced Messias's goalkeeper Sergio Pancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Messias's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Allison came free, but Sergio Pancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Messias's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Allison came free, but Sergio Pancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cuquero's Cipriano Perrando got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 79th match minute, Cuquero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Egun to maneuver through the defense. Dario Cambiasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Jakue, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 84th minute, Saverio Argider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvio Egun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Sergio Pancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Silvio Egun was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Cuquero's Silvio Egun got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Cuquero players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
