The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Federico Parco might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siro Odon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Jago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Siro Odon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Brujateam's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Parco came free, but Siro Odon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Samuel Belo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute, Federico Parco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Siro Odon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Siro Odon came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Carril's Tomas Jago. But to his dismay, Tomas Jago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Siro Odon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Parco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Tomas Jago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Brujateam's zone, Samuel Belo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Odon came out of the goal and Samuel Belo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Federico Parco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Carril's zone, Segundo Orlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Manni came out of the goal and Segundo Orlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Carril getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Albi Prats hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Orlin in the 44th minute of play forced Carril's goalkeeper Marcelo Manni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Carril were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Federico Parco to make the kick off. Siro Odon was a little too slow when Leonides Hats got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-4.
