The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Adolfo Santo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Salto AFC's zone, Hernan Alvarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Admon came out of the goal and Hernan Alvarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Logia Lautaro's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Cebrian came free, but Wasyl Rzeszutek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Salto AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio James to maneuver through the defense. Vladimiro Admon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cătălin Casian, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When Elvio James fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salto AFC's protests and gave Elvio James a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Salto AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Elvio James hit a great ball. The Salto AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Logia Lautaro were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Hernan Alvarez made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Cătălin Casian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Vladimiro Admon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cătălin Casian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hernan Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Vladimiro Admon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimiro Admon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cătălin Casian's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Ariel Sarracino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimiro Admon came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Logia Lautaro's Anacleto Paez. But to his dismay, Anacleto Paez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After 70 played minutes Logia Lautaro got a freekick which was hit by Karsten Wikenburg. In the 72nd minute, Hernan Alvarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Logia Lautaro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Wasyl Rzeszutek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maarek Ojakäär, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. With a little luck, Salto AFC's Vladimiro Admon got control of the ball when Hernan Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filomeno Tono kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Logia Lautaro's Cătălin Casian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vladimiro Admon. Vladimiro Admon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. The Salto AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Logia Lautaro were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
