Aaron Romano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Cesario in the 18th minute of the match. Christian Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With an all-out effort, Salto AFC's Eugenio Hodei threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maarek Ojakäär, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 30 minutes into the match, ★ IL TORO ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Maarek Ojakäär came free, but Eugenio Hodei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Maarek Ojakäär had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute of the match, Donato Cebrian tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eugenio Hodei saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Maarek Ojakäär fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Hodei having to interfere. If Edelmiro Raymon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenio Cesario took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aaron Romano. Aaron Romano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 60th match minute, Salto AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Arias to maneuver through the defense. ★ IL TORO ★ were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Salto AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edelmiro Raymon took the corner. The corner led ★ IL TORO ★'s Edelmiro Raymon to fire away a dangerous shot which Aaron Romano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Ranolfo in the 64th minute of play forced ★ IL TORO ★'s goalkeeper Eugenio Hodei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ★ IL TORO ★'s Victor Ihintza was substituted for Efrain Celino. ★ IL TORO ★ made a substitution. Aaron Romano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Raymon in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Salto AFC's Elvio James got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 87 minutes Salto AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edelmiro Raymon who took care of the corner kick. ★ IL TORO ★'s Edelmiro Raymon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aaron Romano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Christian Furtado hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. A hard shot 96 in the game by Nicolas Dalmai from a close distance when the talented Aaron Romano managed to make a qualified save. Salto AFC's players were relieved. When the final whistle sounded ★ IL TORO ★ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Salto AFC.
