XENEIXES FC's Frits Nabe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hulberto Melendo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hulberto Melendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frits Nabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hulberto Melendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Salvatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 17 minutes, Tomas Goi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PARIS SAINT GERMEINS and the XENEIXES FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, PARIS SAINT GERMEINS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Goi to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frits Nabe in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hulberto Melendo saved PARIS SAINT GERMEINS from getting behind. After a rather tough play, XENEIXES FC's Alin Pârvan got a free kick in the 21st minute. Frits Nabe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hulberto Melendo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in PARIS SAINT GERMEINS's zone, Octavio Salvatore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hulberto Melendo came out of the goal and Octavio Salvatore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of XENEIXES FC booed when PARIS SAINT GERMEINS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Arnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vyacheslav Konopatov might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hulberto Melendo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vyacheslav Konopatov ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute, Vyacheslav Konopatov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The XENEIXES FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vyacheslav Konopatov to make the kick off. Jeremias Ixaka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Jeremias Ixaka managed to get in a good position for a shot. XENEIXES FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Ixaka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hulberto Melendo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Djati Irawan during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frits Nabe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Hulberto Melendo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 87 minutes in the game, Jeremias Ixaka fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hulberto Melendo having to interfere. A collision led to PARIS SAINT GERMEINS getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Mario Arnas hit a great ball. Hulberto Melendo came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by XENEIXES FC's Jeremias Ixaka. But to his dismay, Jeremias Ixaka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Hulberto Melendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Ixaka in the 96th minute of play. XENEIXES FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
