Libertador Nacional's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave XENEIXES FC the free kick. Frits Nabe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Sasoin having to interfere. With a little luck, XENEIXES FC's Damazy Kinic got control of the ball when Rigoberto Cibran tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute Frits Nabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Sasoin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Octavio Salvatore fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored XENEIXES FC's protests and gave Octavio Salvatore a yellow card for diving instead. Cristian Senio hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Isaac Tuste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Libertador Nacional's Amado Sasoin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Libertador Nacional from getting a goal against them. Geronimo Tonio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Amado Sasoin firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Libertador Nacional supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching XENEIXES FC's performance. The match ended with a win for XENEIXES FC.
