Silverio Harkaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Serafin Ruy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Thierry Correia made a precise shot to the right of Aquiles Cordairo. Chatanooga F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Serafin Ruy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Harkaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorio Gaitano in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafin Ruy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Chatanooga F.C.'s Silverio Harkaitz got a free kick in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Generoso Isadore got free with Serafin Ruy in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aquiles Cordairo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Bixintxo in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Chatanooga F.C.'s Generoso Isadore ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Serafin Ruy. Serafin Ruy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Aquiles Cordairo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Bixintxo in the 43rd minute of the match. Aquiles Cordairo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Pelayo in the 44th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Fernando Pelayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorio Gaitano to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Puerto Argentino's Fernando Pelayo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquiles Cordairo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Puerto Argentino's Walter-Adrián Samuel got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 77 played minutes, Chatanooga F.C.'s Alfredo Nevada shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Serafin Ruy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chatanooga F.C. reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Pavlos Gonias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puerto Argentino's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavlos Gonias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Cordairo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the game, Pavlos Gonias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Aquiles Cordairo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the match, Chatanooga F.C.'s goalkeeper Aquiles Cordairo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Pelayo. After 96 minutes, Generoso Isadore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chatanooga F.C. and the Puerto Argentino players grew even worse after the yellow card.
