Angel Emenon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Esquipula in the 22nd minute of the match. Benjamin Tunström kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Bergero FC's Froilan Mede dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Orlando Esquipula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Fausto Fraco in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La Delfina's Mario Bernabel. With an all-out effort, Bergero FC's Jean-Pierre Mignolet threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Froilan Mede, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Orlando Esquipula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Emenon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Tunström, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orlando Esquipula was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Benjamin Tunström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Delfina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After some careless play in the La Delfina defense, Iker Bizi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean-Pierre Mignolet. The La Delfina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean-Pierre Mignolet should have stopped the shot. La Delfina's Orlando Esquipula suffered a concussion after 66 minutes and had to leave the field. Gaston Ilazki charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaston Ilazki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. La Delfina's Jorge Nicholas was substituted for Orlando Esquipula. Pascual Orlondon walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Benjamin Aznar kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Ramon Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Pierre Mignolet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Bizi in the 93rd minute of play. Bergero FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
