In the 2nd minute Cayetano Aznaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Ruy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Puerto Argentino's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dinu Dridu in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Pelayo in the 11th minute of play forced CA Quake's goalkeeper Silverio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Ubelteso struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Serafin Ruy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Quake. With an all-out effort, CA Quake's Serafin Ruy threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victoriano Sustrai, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Pelayo in the 18th minute of play forced CA Quake's goalkeeper Silverio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Puerto Argentino were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after CA Quake's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dinu Dridu took the corner. After taking down the ball on Puerto Argentino's corner Dinu Dridu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silverio Cordearo quite easily take care of the ball. Pavlos Gonias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fernando Pelayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24thth minute of the game Andres Ubelteso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Puerto Argentino's Serafin Ruy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victoriano Sustrai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Serafin Ruy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, CA Quake's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Pelayo came free, but Silverio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafin Ruy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Ubelteso, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Silverio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavlos Gonias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Håkan Östensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Fernando Pelayo made the kick off in the second half. Victoriano Sustrai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Ruy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 0-1 became the score in the 55th minute when Fernando Pelayo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 60thth minute of the game Pavlos Gonias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by CA Quake's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dinu Dridu was slow to take the kick. During this time Puerto Argentino's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Puerto Argentino's Antonio Lagunas to fire away a dangerous shot which Silverio Cordearo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 64th minute, Cayetano Aznaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CA Quake's Tomi Giusti was substituted for Eloy Larra. In the 74th match minute, CA Quake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Reyes to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes CA Quake got a freekick which was hit by Andres Ubelteso. CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save CA Quake from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, CA Quake's Fernando Reyes got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Gelu Măgurean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Pelayo in the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, CA Quake's goal looked a bit too open when Pavlos Gonias came free, but Silverio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Pelayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Puerto Argentino supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Puerto Argentino would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
