The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Cristofol in the 4th minute of play forced CA Quake's goalkeeper Silverio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruperto Demario made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Victoriano Sustrai sent off a good shot on target. Rosendo Remigio hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Andres Ubelteso might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruperto Demario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andres Ubelteso ran back to his position shaking his head. If Elpidio Pirro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. CA Quake's Andres Ubelteso got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Templarios's Ruperto Demario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Aznaro in the 38th minute of play. After 39 minutes Templarios's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rogelio Sadurni who took care of the corner kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ruperto Demario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victoriano Sustrai's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CA Quake fans cheered their team off the field, for while Templarios had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
