One of Zarigueyas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ortigol:s goal. A collision led to Zarigueyas getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Severino Isias hit a great ball. Feliciano Soin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Socorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Zarigueyas's goalkeeper Xalvador Calderón De La Barca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everardo Quinten. Wallace Vaughn hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Everardo Quinten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Abella hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ortigol getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Cirilo Porfiro hit a great ball. Ortigol's Inocencio Barrionuevo was substituted for Clemente Avellaneda. After a rather tough play, Ortigol's Cirilo Porfiro got a free kick in the 49th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

In the 53rd match minute, Ortigol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Porfiro to maneuver through the defense. Zarigueyas's Xalvador Calderón De La Barca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Porfiro in the 61st minute of play. Amancio Endira charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cássio Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, Ortigol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Dino to maneuver through the defense.
