In the 22nd minute, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Lucas Alario ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hector Toribio. Hector Toribio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Severo Elequemedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Milian in the 25th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Javier Dalmau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Severo Elequemedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Braulio Galeno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Severo Elequemedo. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Braulio Galeno hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Lucas Alario struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Hector Toribio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D Atlético Villa Gesell. The audience was convinced that Lucas Alario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hector Toribio was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Hector Toribio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Alario, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Socialismo Gatuno's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Alario came free, but Hector Toribio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Dalmau came free, but Severo Elequemedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Alario took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Toribio. But to his dismay, Lucas Alario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Hector Toribio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Alario went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Hector Toribio came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Lucas Alario. But to his dismay, Lucas Alario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 80 minutes into the match, Socialismo Gatuno's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Alario came free, but Hector Toribio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Javier Dalmau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Elequemedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Marin Mascovescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Socialismo Gatuno players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A.D Atlético Villa Gesell.
