The Piñeyro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Generoso Ofelio in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Orbay Ergener, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Orbay Ergener managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Club Atletico Gral Acha's Generoso Ofelio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jose Bonifaco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Orbay Ergener took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Bidun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Ofelio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Orbay Ergener made a huge save. After the first half Piñeyro were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Generoso Ofelio was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Generoso Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orbay Ergener saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Club Atletico Gral Acha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doctor Begal to maneuver through the defense. Orbay Ergener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Bidun in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Piñeyro walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
