Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anacleto Bastiaro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute, Anacleto Bastiaro made a precise shot to the right of Elvio Piarres. Nat-Ham FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 18 minutes into the game, Artur Debkowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LA NARANJA MECANICA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nat-Ham FC the free kick. The supporters of Nat-Ham FC booed when LA NARANJA MECANICA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Debkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anacleto Bastiaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Elvio Piarres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anacleto Bastiaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Nat-Ham FC defense, Albeiro Usuriaga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvio Piarres. The Nat-Ham FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvio Piarres should have stopped the shot. Anacleto Bastiaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LA NARANJA MECANICA's Albeiro Usuriaga got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Nat-Ham FC's zone, Anacleto Bastiaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Piarres came out of the goal and Anacleto Bastiaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elvio Piarres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Bastiaro in the 45th minute of the match. Anacleto Bastiaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The wind increased when Albeiro Usuriaga made the kick off in the second half. Arnoldo Peyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Dalmau in the 53rd minute of play. After 55 played minutes Albeiro Usuriaga rounded Nat-Ham FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. Elvio Piarres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albeiro Usuriaga in the 59th minute of the match. Albeiro Usuriaga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elvio Piarres having to make a save. Anacleto Bastiaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvio Piarres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, LA NARANJA MECANICA's Albeiro Usuriaga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as LA NARANJA MECANICA's Albeiro Usuriaga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elvio Piarres. That made the score 1-7 after 72 minutes of play. In the 77th minute, Artur Debkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elvio Piarres made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Anacleto Bastiaro sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th match minute, LA NARANJA MECANICA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Debkowski to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Anacleto Bastiaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elvio Piarres. Nat-Ham FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anacleto Bastiaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. After a defensive mix-up in Nat-Ham FC's zone, Albeiro Usuriaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Piarres came out of the goal and Albeiro Usuriaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the game, Albeiro Usuriaga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elvio Piarres. Albeiro Usuriaga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-9. When the match was over LA NARANJA MECANICA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nat-Ham FC throughout the match.
