Fernando Javiar helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Nat-Ham FC's Fernando Javiar got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 16thth minute of the game Fermin Mino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nat-Ham FC's Elvio Piarres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 17 minutes, Fermin Mino made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Nat-Ham FC's Elvio Piarres tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Elvio Piarres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo-Enrique Bochini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elvio Piarres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Mino in the 23rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Fermin Mino sped through Nat-Ham FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elvio Piarres. After the first half LA MERCED F.C. were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luciano Reno made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Dario Marzulli managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA MERCED F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Marzulli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvio Piarres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 53 minutes into the game, Fermin Mino lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Elvio Piarres. Elvio Piarres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Marzulli in the 62nd minute. Fermin Mino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Elvio Piarres made a huge save. Nunez Sein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Elvio Piarres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, LA MERCED F.C.'s Fermin Mino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Fermin Mino took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Elvio Piarres to make any attempt to save it. Fermin Minos short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Elvio Piarres to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. LA MERCED F.C.'s Luisito Sanchez got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Fermin Mino put it in 0-14 from a short distance just to the right of Elvio Piarres. 86 minutes into the game, LA MERCED F.C.'s Fermin Mino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elvio Piarres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-15. Elvio Piarres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Fermin Mino lined in a short shot 0-16 behind a frustrated Elvio Piarres. The Nat-Ham FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LA MERCED F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
