But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Lluc couldn't finish the play. If Segundo Jerold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Hunfredo struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Osvaldo Tebaldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cafayete FC. Mafia City's attentive Wincent Ptaszek managed to snatch the ball when Tobias Cisco made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. A collision led to Cafayete FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Tobias Cisco hit a great ball. Mauro Ixidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Lluc in the 29th minute of play. Mafia City's Osvaldo Tebaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Mafia City from getting a goal against them. Omar Asad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Osvaldo Tebaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Maximino Gervaso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Ixidor. Cafayete FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximino Gervaso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Segundo Jerold came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cafayete FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Jerold couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Sevdalin Nikolaev in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mafia City's Eriberto Medardo. Segundo Jerold came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Osvaldo Tebaldo could save by the left post. Cafayete FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sevdalin Nikolaev in the 46th minute. Segundo Jerold could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Tebaldo made a huge save.

The wind increased when Narciso Lluc made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Herbert Milan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Cafayete FC's Maximino Hunfredo got a free kick in the 56th minute. Omar Asad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Tebaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Osvaldo Tebaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Hunfredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hubert Lekberg hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mafia City booed when Cafayete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Asad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Tebaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Asad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 played minutes Cafayete FC got a freekick which was hit by Donato Calisto. Mauro Ixidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Gervaso in the 88th minute of play. Osvaldo Tebaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Jerold in the 93rd minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mafia City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
