Aquilino Gonsalve showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Deniz Raci hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Los Potrillos's zone, Igor Monø stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eron Abellaneda came out of the goal and Igor Monø tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Saraza getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Deniz Raci hit a great ball. Arturo Inautzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquilino Gonsalve's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Enrico Lozano hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Igor Monø who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Eron Abellaneda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Los Potrillos's Eron Abellaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Monø in the 56th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Igor Monø cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Eron Abellaneda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Los Potrillos's Niceto Ioritz got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Igor Monø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eron Abellaneda having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
