Filiberto Figueroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Lluciano in the 16th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes El equipo de Solteros got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Ferdinand. In the 23rd minute of the match, Abelardo Cloyo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ladislao Distiratsu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 26 minutes into the match, Abelardo Cloyo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ladislao Distiratsu, 1-2. Filiberto Figueroa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfonso Lluciano's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. If Alfonso Lluciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Lluciano took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filiberto Figueroa. Filiberto Figueroa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 47 played minutes Los Potrillos got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Txaran. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abelardo Cloyo was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Gerardo Abeita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Potrillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El equipo de Solteros the free kick. El equipo de Solteros made a substitution. Timoteo Regis replaced Edvard Salqvist. After 54 played minutes Los Potrillos got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Abeita. In the 59th minute, Alfonso Lluciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Los Potrillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Platon to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Lluciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Potrillos:s Filiberto Figueroa showed great skill when he stopped Alfonso Lluciano:s penalty. In the 76th minute, Alfonso Lluciano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filiberto Figueroa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Enzo Rios scored 2-4 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ladislao Distiratsu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfonso Lluciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Filiberto Figueroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marek Rakoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 97 minutes, Filiberto Figueroa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. El equipo de Solteros's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
