The audience was convinced that Nicanor Ubelteso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diogo Brito was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 24th match minute, Furia XeneiZe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Ikatz to maneuver through the defense. Vinicio Chaime made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Gabirel in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Elpidio Ariando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Furia XeneiZe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club the free kick. After some careless play in the Furia XeneiZe defense, Nicanor Ubelteso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diogo Brito. The Furia XeneiZe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diogo Brito should have stopped the shot.
