The audience was convinced that German Salamon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filiberto Figueroa was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, German Salamon put it in 8-1 from a short distance just to the right of Filiberto Figueroa. Los Potrillos's Filiberto Figueroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Salamon in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Los Potrillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Platon to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Ilazki. Filiberto Figueroa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicanor Ubelteso went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicanor Ubelteso in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiberto Figueroa saved Los Potrillos from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, German Salamon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but German Salamon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiberto Figueroa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicanor Ubelteso in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiberto Figueroa saved Los Potrillos from getting behind. 89 minutes into the match, Nicanor Ubelteso notched a goal, 11-1, to the right of Los Potrillos's Filiberto Figueroa. Filiberto Figueroa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the match, Los Potrillos's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Ubelteso came free, but Filiberto Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Nicanor Ubelteso put it in 12-1 from a short distance just to the right of Filiberto Figueroa. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Racing Club fully deserved thier win.
